solving the refugee crisis

What do you think, how can europe solve the refugee crisis? The current chaos is unbearable. More and more people in germany don´t want to bear that anymore and demand harder actions.

What we need is a united front of all european nations so we can change that situation and let it be fair for evry country.

Germany now talks with turkey to find a solution, but also greece is important to solve that, because it is a main transit land. Greece must start to protect its boarders properly and i think germany should support greece to do so.

Another point is that syria and libya must be stabilized.

No matter what is done, but all must work together.

It's impossible to protect Greece's borders with Turkey. There are hundreds of islands across the coast of Asia Minor where migrants can land. In most cases it's a short boat ride from Turkey. Much safer and easier than crossing from Libya to Italy.

The problem is that Turkey doesn't care to stop anyone from crossing to Greece/Europe.

The European community needs to work with countries like Turkey, Libya and others and help them cope with the illegal migrants at their points of entry. This is a complex situation with many unfortunate souls trying to escape their rough lives at home and start a new life in a better place.

they cant stay here and they have no future here. We currently talk with turkey and plan to make huge gifts so turkey will be supportive. We also plan to install hot spots in greece and turkey where the refugees stay and then brought back.

This is an awfully cold hearted comment, by someone who's himself an immigrant.

How so?

If someone decides to jump into the Mediterranean and take the risk of drowning then let it be so. I respect his choice. I'm not obligated to go fish him out, serve him a halal meal, build him a Mosque, offer him a job, provide healthcare for him and make sure that his kids have access to a quran school. I'm not being cold hearted. I'm being reasonable.

As a society we are responsible for all human beings in need. I'm not going to go as far as saying that we're obliged to offer them halal meals and build them mosques, but we should be trying to help them any way we can and at least fulfil basic needs such as food and water, and a safe place to stay.

These people didn't choose to be born and raised in crazy countries, run by unreasonable nutcases. It was just the luck of the draw. They're making a conscious effort to get out of there and live a normal life. The least we can do is offer them the basic things they need to survive and help them rebuild their lives.

This people and their attitudes are responsible for the crazyness in their countries. It is about time to acknowledge that.

I've seen them at the KTEL station in Athens. Hundreds of them. Almost all of them young men in their twenties. The greater part of them rather thuggish and confrontational. Their notion of normal doesn't have anything to do with mine.

And no a society is not responsible for "All Human Beings". A society is a construct in which people come together to share burdens and benefits. That's all it is. The duty of any society is to provide opportunities to those who belong to it. Not to every jackass who storms across the border or sails across the sea. In Greeces case society has failed the Greeks but there are still some who think the Greeks have to be burdened with the refuse of Syria.

yeah ... like the germans ... well at least according to our german fuckhead

what we plan with greece. Your nation will be the wastebin we push all refugees into

but overall i concure. if the youngsters can throw rocks and demand their rights, they can stay in syria and fight for the very same rights

fact is the women and children is only the latest development, up to now, but before that.... what ajax says holds . i mean really ... the young men bugger off and leave their women wives and children behind to fend for themselves within the madhouse called syria? seriously ?

No they don't. The Greek Government decided to abolish borders. The consequences should be to 100% Greeces Problem. The Dublin treaty was designed to protect the core union from the stupidity of peripheral members such as Greece. Te core EU should inssist on the stipulations of the Treaty and deport all Illegals back to Greece. Apparently the Greeks can handle it.

We were able to defend our home town yesterday from refugees. It was planned that 60 of this scum is brought into a sport hall.

The entire town demonstrated against it, blocked the road of their bus and pelted them with eggs, apples and tomatoes. Apparently they were too scared to leave the bus and police escorted them away after an hour.

Defend it? Were they attacking you?

You better wish you're not in their shoes one day and need help to survive...

I´m german. We fight for our nation, families and homes. We don´t run away with smart phones.

This is an invasion and nothing else. And yes with their pure presence they attack us. They are dirty, smell. They throw their waste where they stand, shit on the streets and steal in shops.

Germany just excluded Greece from the western Balkans conference. While Tsipras declares there is no such thing as Borders the EU pays the Hungarians to build a Border Fence. And the purpose of the Balkan conference is, among other things, to address the issue of illegals geting stuck in the Western Balkans due to Greeces failure to secure her borders. The way this is going the crisis becomes more and more of a Greek and less of a European problem. To bad most Greeks don't understand that the Germans act according to the "Verursacher Prinzip".

I don't see why not. There is no reason the EU should expect Greece, a small country, to protect the EU borders without help. Greece has no money to feed its own, why should it keep those illegal migrants. The EU regulations serve the benefits of the big EU bullies, a small country does what it can to survive.

The problem with the huge masses coming over this summer, as opposed to previous years, was because of Germany wanting cheap labor to replace its declining population. Instead of going to refugee centres outside of the EU and airlifting whoever it wants, it has instead preferred for those people to cross the sea, traipsing through Greece and other EU countries and causing havoc there. Those people want to go to Germany, let them pass.

It is obvious that Turkey has been pushing those people over to Greece to create problems in Greece.

You overlook the fact that Greece has abandoned border protection. Greece pulled the police of the streets. Deliberatly. If you think Germany will welcome everybody to whom Greece grants free passage, including ISIS criminals, then you are mistaken. The Germans take the protection of their homeland way more serious than Tsipras and his pal Kamenos do.

I know. They don´t realize whats going on.

What we do is a two stage plan.

We currently secure the western balkan. Orban closes down hungary and the balkan nations get investments to close down as well. That means the refugees will get stcuk in greece. In the other side we make a deal with turkey to guarantee to block there as well. That means within the nextw eeks greece will become the dumping place for the refugees.

Don't pat yourself, I can read the news as well as you, and much better. The creation of hotspots in Greece and Italy is meant to keep the refugees there. It is ironic, if now cowardly, for the big EU bullies to rely on small frontier countries to keep them safe.

Dealing with Turkey means in addition of the illegals already in the EU, you will get 75 million turks roaming the EU visa-free.

However, talking about Greece instead of Turkey is a deviation of the real issue. Greece is not the one flooding the EU with the illegals. Turkey is, it is where they come from. It would not surprise me that the turkish government gets a fat cut from the smugglers. It sure helps the sagging turkish economy.
