This article claims that China wants to establish a new world order which he calls utopian.
I think this is a wrong perception. I don't think China wants to be the leader of the world, as the US wants to be. China has been striving for a new multilateral world order to replace the existing Western world order.
As said in one of the reader comments below the article, "Tienxa" is meant to be the sinosphere rather the whole world. The power of a leader, be it the emperor or a king, came from Heaven. However, when the emperor does not do what the people want, he goes against the will of Heaven and should be dethroned. That is the reason why throughout China's history, there have been so many rebellions and revolutions. How does that compare to democracy?
