Following the latest success of the Athens 2004 Olympic Games and the amazing feat of the Greek national soccer team to bring home the Euro 2004 (European Soccer Championship) Greek sports are in an all time high.

The huge success of the Greek national soccer team on the fields of Portugal has put Greek soccer on new tracks and has raised expectations regarding the future efforts of all those involved in this area even higher.

Greek soccer teams like Olympiakos or Panathinaikos make it to the Champions League groups almost every year and basketball teams like Aris Salonica, Paok, Olympiakos and Panathinaikos have a long tradition of European success.

Last year the Olympiakos volleyball team managed to win the Top Teams Cup, the first ever for a Greek volleyball team. Also Greek polo teams have been very succesful in the past, teams like Olympiakos, Vouliagmeni and Ethnikos have a long history of success in Greece and Europe.
