Hello everyone! My name is Stavros, I am 32 years old, currently live in Greece (Athens), looking for accounting, finance, and banking job opportunities abroad (mainly graduate, entry-level, and 1-3 years work experience jobs).

My qualifications and skills might be summarised as follows:
-Master of Science in International Finance and Economic Policy, University of Glasgow, UK (M.Sc. with Merit/2:1)
-Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Technological Educational Institute of Piraeus, Greece (2:1)
-Full-time work experience of 3 years as an Assistant Accountant, 1 year as an Inventory Manager, and as a Financial Analyst regarding a 6-month project (cost-benefit analysis)
-Part-time work experience of 1 year in Financial Services (customer-facing/sales role) and of several years as a Trainee Assistant Manager (family business)
-Computer literate and proficient with most Microsoft Office programs (work/hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel as well as ERP and CRM systems)
-Excellent command of the English language (ECPE, Michigan) and the Greek language (native) as well as decent knowledge of the French language (DELF II)
-Bright, energetic, social, positive, customer-focused, highly organised, excellent verbal and written communication skills, analytical mind, excellent numerical skills, ability to handle, analyse, and interpret complex data, strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, able to handle multiple tasks on a daily basis competently, perform well under pressure and enjoy challenges, flexible, strong negotiation skills, ability to work independently and within deadlines, team player, self-motivated, proven ability to understand and adopt new formats/systems quickly, excellent research skills, commercial and competition awareness, thinking outside the box, taking a long-term view, dedicated to expand knowledge, reach targets, and add value to the firm
-Internationally mobile (EU citizen)

Although it would be ideal to be able to relocate back to UK (I lived in Scotland for 1 year), my search is by no means restricted to it (I am also looking for jobs within EU, including Poland, Romania, France, Norway, as well as outside EU, such as Australia, Canada, China, USA, Singapore). I am now sending applications abroad and managed to get telephone interviews by RBS and Capgemini in UK (both of them will be held next week). Nevertheless, I would also consider any Greek speaking positions abroad even if they are not on my field of studies or experience (i.e. customer service roles e.t.c.), bearing in mind that my efforts are focused on relocating and finding a decent job.

At last but not at least, I consider myself determined for expanding knowledge and boosting my career within an international forward-thinking firm.

I would like to thank you for your time and hope all the best for Greek people all over the world!

You may contact me at: sderdas@gmail.com

Kind regards

Stavros

Hi all my name is Antonis ,i am 33 years old i have a bsc in business and two master degrees in HRM and quality. Clearly Greece is a dead end for most of us either because we are overqualified or we simply do not know the right people...( Not mentioning recession). Anyhow, sadly i am just looking for a break out of my country so if anyone knows something closely related to my education that would be...perfection. Even shipboard life in a cruiser seems great just about now

Best of luck to all of us

Why female candidate only? Is it legal in Greece to make such a request?
It would be illegal in Canada to discriminate like this in a job posting

4.    You may follow up the same day (weekday) by phoning or emailing Natalia to see if she received your documents

English requirement

There is some flexibility with provision of IELTS test score for now at these pre-screening stages.  If a candidate has completed post-secondary education in an English speaking country and can provide documents evidencing the fact, and does not have a registration for the IELTS test or IELTS score, it is likely to be sufficient to get a scheduled interview with a MPNP representative.  The language proficiency will be somewhat assessed during the interview and a candidate might be required to provide IELTS score at the later date.

For the template, please consider adding this information:

For question 7,Have you made contact with any communities in Manitoba whether geographical or ethno-cultural?

Are any of them interested in supporting you?

- you can say that you have made contact with the HIIC Hellenic Immigrant InitiativeCommittee, and the Greek Community. We are interested in supporting you, and you may use my name: Victoria Doussis Schindle.

For question 1. Have you made any application including PROVINCIAL NOMINEE, QUEBEC IMMIGRATION, VISITOR VISA, STUDY VISA, WORK VISA, or PERMANENT RESIDENT VISA to any other immigration programs in Canada?

If yes what was your declared intended settlement destination ?

- they want to know that you want to settle in Manitoba. If you settle in Manitoba, there is a much stronger chance of getting a job here and permanent residence.

For question 4. Why are you interested in immigrating to Manitoba?

- that there is a strong Greek Community and Greek Orthodox Church in Manitoba, and that employment opportunities are good, cost of living is lower than other provinces – it is more affordable to live in Manitoba

Sincerely,

Victoria Doussis Schindle

Hello I am Dutch and live in Volos
A friend of mine a woman of 53 years old who has two sons a twin of 28 years old, has now just enough money to last this week, after that she has no income. She has no diploma's and not much experience , and no knoledge in foreighn languages, she needs to stay alive and is searching for jobs anywhere, she is a tough cookie and will work hard. Anybody willing to give her a chance? Please not people who want to exploit the situation. Her name is Georgia and i am sorry i have to write she is not very pretty looking (don't tell i said that), so no jobs where looks are important. She is trustworthy a hard worker, motivated and given a chance i am sure a quick learner. Permanent job would be best with a place to stay. I was thinking help cook, dishwascher, kamariera. Or with some help cook, she makes great pittes.
Please let me know abascare@hol.gr (we can not afford to support her totally and for a long time) abascare@hol.gr for reactions
